Which vaccine goes when, where to get them free, and what to expect after.

In Mexico, the National Vaccination Schedule includes all essential first-year vaccines FREE at IMSS, ISSSTE, INSABI, and Secretaría de Salud health centers. You don't need health insurance to vaccinate your baby. Just the vaccination card.

  • Irritability and crying on vaccine day: completely expected

  • Extra sleepiness: the immune system is working hard, it's normal
